Taylor Wimpey gets off to a flying start at Dargavel Village, Bishopton

Since opening in mid-January, Taylor Wimpey West Scotland is delighted to confirm that sales of new homes at its first phase in Dargavel Village, Bishopton have sold well ahead of expectations.

Pre-opening, the level of interest from buyers who were in a position to make a commitment was impressive, so it’s really exciting to see the development making such positive progress as Audrey Ross, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland comments:

“Since announcing thisDargavel_Village_Taylor_Wimpey_Cala_Charles_Church_Persimmon_Housetype_Monro_External project, there has been a real appetite for information on our new homes at Dargavel Village, Bishopton with prospective buyers investing their own time into researching the development and our range of new homes even before we had officially released the first phase for sale.

“There have been queues of customers who are genuinely impressed by our range and specification of homes, as well as a constant stream of buyers who want to be part of this major transformational project in the west of Scotland.  And it’s encouraging to see this high demand is continuing with high visitor traffic each week.

“Indeed, we’ve also seen an increase in visitor traffic to many of our other developments which has allowed those customers to see for themselves the quality, style and craftsmanship they can expect from a Taylor Wimpey home.  And we’ve worked hard with all of these interested customers to ensure they’ve had the information they need to allow them to make an informed choice about their next move.

“We’ve seen a real confidence from buyers who’ve been happy to make the decision to move and buy their new home off-plan, even although their move-in date will perhaps be around six to eight months from the day they paid their deposit and reservation fee.

“In fact at our launch, the demand for our new homes was so high that our first customers Alison Pollock and Adam Goodall from Bishopton even camped out from 5pm the night before our sales information office opened.  But they’ve secured the home they wanted which is great.  We’ve simply not seen this level of excitement for a development opening for many years.

“Our construction teams are working hard to deliver a great range of quality, new homes for buyers like Alison and Adam to move in to later this year, and this is when Dargavel Village, Bishopton will truly come to life.  Plus our three showhomes are under-construction and our plan is to open these in early summer.”
