Stewart Milne Homes toasts ‘NHBC Pride in the Job’ Awards success

The Stewart Milne Homes site manager for Dargavel Village has been recognised for the third time by the National House Building Council for achieving the highest standards in house building.

Allan Cunningham has been awarded a Pride in the Job by the industry body for his meticulous work at the leading housebuilder’s multi award- winning Earl’s Green development in Troon.

Shortlisted from over 15,000 site managers across the UK, Allan, who has previously been the recipient of 4 NHBC Health and Safety awards, excelled throughout 12 months of rigorous judging and will now go on to the NHBC Scotland Pride in the Job Awards event in October.

Allan is now bringing this meticulous approach and high quality of workmanship to Dargavel Village. The new community within the popular commuter village of Bishopton, features a collection of 3, 4, 5 and 6 bedroom detached and terraced homes, set within a truly idyllic setting of mature trees, historic lochans and village greens.

Allan said: “The NHBC is looking for thorough attention to detail at all stages of the build and it’s a great achievement to be recognised nationally for the quality of workmanship that we put into all our developments. The team is full of passion, determination and desire to deliver stunning homes for our customers and I’d like to thank them for their continued hard work.”

Gerry More, Managing Director at Stewart Milne Homes, said: “Everyone at Stewart Milne Homes is very proud of Allan and he thoroughly deserves to be recognised for his hard work and commitment to the highest level of quality and workmanship.
“Allan’s focus and attention to detail can be seen throughout all our developments and he is a worthy winner of this prestigious accolade.”
