Bishopton Site Manager Wins National House Building Award

Award-winning site manager Paul Cunningham, has once again beaten off stiff competition from thousands of entries to be honoured with a prestigious NHBC (National House Building Council) Pride in the Job Quality Award.

This year’s award is for his work at Taylor Wimpey’s Dargavel Village development in Bishopton, and follows a string of previous wins in these annual awards including a ‘Seal of Excellence’ top ten ranking in 2013, and the overall top site manager in Scotland in 2012 for his previous development in East Kilbride.

This year’s award, which is one of 70 won by Taylor Wimpey site managers around the UK, recognises Paul’s dedication to building high quality homes for new home buyers, and ranks Dargavel Village in Bishopton in the top developments in Scotland.

Pride in the Job Quality Awards are presented following a stringent judging process by NHBC inspectors who perform spot checks and continuous assessment of developments throughout the year. The Quality Awards also provide homebuyers with the assurance that the development provides top quality homes and excellent customer service.

Pride in the Job is the only UK-wide awards scheme that recognises the significant contribution of site managers who achieve the highest standards in new home construction. The scheme has been instrumental in raising the build quality of new homes in the UK for over three decades. The regional events take place in the autumn, whilst the Supreme Awards gala final will be held in London in January 2015.
